With the wind blowing upon Charlotte Harbor, it has pushed many of us off the harbor and up river, or into the canals.. Upriver the action has really turned on, with the lack of fresh water. Bait is finally making it's way back up around the 75 bridge. This is a good thing the snook and reds follow. We have been catching smaller slot reds around the upper islands and around the marshes, just west of 75. The snook bite has allready started alot of over sized fish under the bridge on a outgoing tide. We have been doing really well in the evening, throwing Sebiles and big Bombers or swim baits. I like using the 7 in swim baits for the big snook, primarily trying to match the hatch of Mullet upriver. Trooling Bombers around the deep edges of the river is still producing resident Tarpon, a big surprise when your snook fishing... If the winds blowing head up river and give it a try...  Smiley
